Return to article: How to Overcome Temptations Not to Pray
on 7/1/2008 I agree with your article. I may sound like a challenge to this, but having lived with great disappointments, these are the toughest times to pray. When you feel as the situation threw you to the grown and it takes every ounce of strength (faith) to pull you upright, its when I believe we grow spiritually. Praying, saved my mother from Breast Cancer, I prayed as the Centurion Soldier believed. Though many felt my mother had to come into the church to be prayed for, I knew that was not going to be a convenience for her and where she lived. So God inspired me to grab a hold of this promise in my daily prayer time, which I did, the entire year she had cancer treatments. Matthew 8:5-13, God is truly magnificent in our frailty. He is here. Pray, even if you can't feel it. Pray, and His presence will confirm in your daily life. She is alive and well today, this is from 1995. But Wait....
