on 12/25/2009 One thing that is helpful to keep in mind when you are in a position of needing help is that you can also find ways to give back, whether now or in the future. When you do not have money to donate, you may have time to give. Finding ways to contribute is a win-win situation for everyone involved.

I would wish for all of you and your familys to find the help you need for the holiday. I would wish for a better year for us all next year. And as the night rolls on and NORAD begins to track Santa accross the heavens I wish for the explanation to tell our children in the morning why Santa couldnt make it to our house.

on 12/9/2008 I am still recieving e-mails seeking help but will have to decline as all funds have been depleated by purchasing gifts for the 7 families (20 KIDS) we have taken on this Christmas. It breaks my heart to tell people I cannot help anyone else, but I am at the point of going into a hole myself due to the shipping charges I will have to pay to send these packages out. We origionally planned on taking 1 to 2 families, and I had felt so bad....we ended up taking seven......but I cannot do anymore. Please seek my other posts for info on where you can look for help. I truly appologize and wish I could help everyone, but we are a low income family of 5, and cannot do this all alone. Good luck to all, God Bless, and have a happy holiday.

on 12/9/2008 We now have seven families (20 kids) and have to decline any future e-mails for holiday help. If I have already e-mailed you....don't worry....a gift will arrive for each child, and will be sent out sometime next week. I have asked for help from other friends torwards monitary donations torwards gifts, so we will see what happens and do whatever we can. No matter what, each child I have on my list from prior emails WILL recieve a gift. For all others, check my prior posts for info on where to seek help. Happy Holidays to ALL.

on 12/8/2008 AS I have already accepted to sponsor the first family I had heard back from by personal email, I would like to give ideas where the other families could get help: Having been in the same situation prior, I completely understand the need families have (especially during the holidays). It was a fluke that I came across this page, but I am glad I did. I will be helping Kindra's girls. As for the rest of you, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! Please check with local churches, firehouses, radio stations, your childrens schools, infoline, and the human resource department in your town, toys for tots, ect. There IS help available if you keep looking. I wish I could help you all, but unfortunately I cannot. I had e-mailed those who provided their e-mail addresses, but only had one reply, so we have taken on that family. I am sure there are others who would love to help, but finding you all on this

I had recieved your response e-mail (you were the only one out of three families I sent it to that responded). Therefore a couple of friends and I are getting together and sponsoring your girls for christmas. As I recieve further information from you (by personal e-mail) I will purchase items and send them out sometime next week, so you WILL recieve the gifts before christmas. Thank you for sending the picture of the girls, we will do all we can to make them have a VERY MERRY Christmas, so do not worry.

on 12/8/2008 My name is Constance,I am 40 years old and have been alone since my husband was incarcerated 8 months ago for severe domestic battery and it is hard to even know how to ask for help,I fall though all the cracks. There does not seem to be any help out there for people like me. I am a good person and always help when I can, often putting my own survival at risk. It feels good to know that you helped someone but, I need help,desperatly. I am disabled due to multiple traumatic brain injury and bodily injuries after being hit by a car while walking to the store. My life will never be the same. I am overwhelmed with panic and desperation. Social security does not give me enough money to even pay the rent.I know I have a black cloud hanging over me and horrible things keep happening to me but,there has to be some hope for me. I have such a good heart..please,if anyone has any idea of what I can
