I just lost 165lbs in 8 months without surgery (this year). Just my own diet and workout. From 315lbs to 150lbs. I have the extra skin that comes with the loss of weight. I hope these tips work. Thanks for the information. :)

Very informative article. I am very proud of people who lose this much weight, it's a great accomplishment! I do worry about the skin left over, but your health is better, so don't worry about it!

Good info and good article! I'm in the process of losing weight myself and foresee having the loose skin issue. Maybe some of your suggestions will work. Thanks! 5*

I have offically hit my target weight and I've been struggling with the loose skin that is left. I have lost 112 lbs in the last year and I didn't want to go through such an invasion procedure to take care of the remainders of my struggle. I never knew half of these tips from this article! Now that I have this knowledge, it makes me feel more in control. If anyone else has any tips that they would like to share, I would definately appreciate it! :)

Also I like to note that experts say that 2 lbs a week is normal, considering that your 30 lbs loss over a 3 month period that would pretty much fit normal weight loss.

"I lost around 30 lbs when I was 12 or 13 years old or so, within a period of about 3 months through crash dieting and exercise"
Okay 30lbs in 3 months is not crash dieting, yes it is higher then advised but 30lbs in a month would be crash dieting, but considering your age and the fact that you where still growing you can't really call it crash dieting. Also your age as in the fact that you where young and your muscles, skin and bone still growing is most likely the reason why you suffer no loose skin.
