on 11/1/2009 Yes, that should work fine, but if it's a small mirror and you still have the pieces you can also try holding it under running water just to be sure.

on 12/8/2008 I broke the mirror on the driver side door of my truck. It is more a serious crack. No pieces fell out and does not appear to be loose. My question is: since I can not see myself in the mirror unless I get my face right next to it, does the 7 year thing really matter? My thought is that in order to distort the soul, a broken mirror has to show your reflection. This one only shows what is behind me.

on 8/29/2008 I think the mosaic might work - plus you'd probably get extra good karma points for a) recycling and b) artistic endeavour.
If you break a ton o'mirrors and have no access to any of the shards, I guess you just throw a whole box of salt over your shoulder and hope for the best. Or join a 12-step program for recovering superstition holders.

on 4/23/2008 What should a person do if they dropped a case of mirror tiles that contained ten boxes, each box had 100 mirror tiles in it. All but five mirrors were broken at least a little and all the pieces had to be swept up and kept for insurance purposes and that person was fired and doesn't have access to the shards?
