on 9/2/2008 What a clever idea!! I frequently use a gel ice pack that I got from the drug store. Recently, it developed a hole in it and it leaks. Now, I won't have to shell out big bucks for a replacement -- I can make my own from things I have in stock. Thank you SOOOOOO much for this article!

on 12/1/2007 wow what a great idea, i would have never thought of this, even adding the food color you can personalize your ice pack if you use them for different things!! Thanks for another wonderful hint!!
