on 1/31/2008 My friends and i have only recently discovered this beautiful place but i feel it is very important to pass on my experience in an effort to help others. Two days ago i took my little dog for a walk on the Betty Dearing trail, as i have done a few times now. While walking, my dog ingested something so toxic that tragically today she has passed away. I urge everybody taking their dogs to this trail to be very watchful as i wouldn't wish this experience on another dog or owner. Sleep well Winnie x
