on 3/12/2009 I am 52 years old, and have had three maijor back operations. Because of the severity of my pain, I want to know how to go about finding a physician that will prescribe Marijuana. I live in Michigan, and just this year we passed the bill for medical Marijuana, but it is hard to find doctors that will prescribe. Is there any one that can help? E Mail me @ fletch711@aol.com. on 9/11/2008 I have crps, post rotator cuff tear and impingment i continue to lose 10 lba a week, the only way i can eat is if i smoke, I tried looking through the classifieds which was mentioned above and am having a hard time, also when my mom was dying of cancer she would take a few puffs and be able to nibble on something it sustained her life until she died two days after my sons b-day! ciggaretts should be banned and pot should not and im a smoker!

on 6/8/2008 First of all its not any of our places to say who can smoke what. federal or state. it is our right as a human being to smoke or put in our bodies whatever the hell we want. Bud is natural. beer is not and yet you don’t need a doctor to get wasted and kill someone on the road. if any "drug" should be legal its bud. why is it not??? cause the government and big business don’t think they can make a profit. it’s as simple as that. Hay if you love to smoke bud and are a responsible member of society, go get a prescription it’s the only way you can legally smoke your kind greens without getting busted by the MAN!!!! Thank god to the docs who are brave enough to write then and to the dispensaries who get raided just to serve the bud smoking community.

on 4/10/2008 anyone watch utube? if so type in running from the cure. if you could get enough marajuana to make hemp oil you may be able to cure some types of cancer.i truly believe there is natural cures for almost anything but the goverment and big pharmicuticals will fight them all the way. due to the almighty dollar.

on 3/30/2008 I don't advise anyone to abuse the system. It is for those with qualifying illnesses ONLY. Those who game the system could end up making it that much more difficult for cancer or AIDS patients struggling to deal with pain or a significantly reduced appetite to get their medicine.

on 2/24/2008 Also, this law was passed for MEDICINAL PURPOSES. The fasts way to have the law overturned is going to be for people getting prescriptions for recreational purposes abusing the privilege. Use your best judgment. The legal Pot and the Pot that is available on the black market cost the same in price.
