on 10/28/2007 Back in 1823, I began overeating lamb chops and mint sauce. I just couldn't stop, but now thanks to your amazing article swatisinha I am free.

on 10/28/2007 Back in 1990, I stopped emotional overeating. I recognized that if my need for food was emotional, it could be satisfied emotionally. So I let myself purchase food treats to eat later -- and chose nonperishable items that took a fair amount of preparation. The process of buying the treat satisfied my emotional craving, and I'd have something good around later when money was short. I avoided candy, instant little packages and sweets that took no effort -- but still gave myself a treat by buying something special that I'd make later. After a while not all the treats I bought for emotional reasons were food anyway, since it was always for later. Buying a song on Napster won't give you weight problems. Don't overspend though, budget for perks and look for small inexpensive substitutes.
