on 5/19/2008 Well, it's almost right... The bumps form due a combination of the original irritation caused by the razor; add to that moist heat, and top it all off with the inherent friction caused by walking, standing, etc... Voila! Mild skin irritation. This is then further provoked by the sharp end of the shaven hairs being lifted just high enough to poke the already sensitive skin... on 5/14/2008 Maybe it just doesn't work for every one! I can use any type of white stick deodorant, no certain brand, and I don't have any problem at all. Sorry:(

on 4/30/2008 I tried it. I went out and bought Dove Sensitive Skin Invisible Solid deodorant (http://www.amazon.com/Dove-Antiperspirant-Deodorant-Invisible-Unscented/dp/B000FKLCZ2). I shaved my bikini line, patted dry and applied the deodorant. Within 3 hours I had razor burn just as bad as always.

Is this tip not for bikini lines? Is the deodorant I bought not the right kind?
