I live in Nebraska where we can't do a recall.Nelson is a liar and scum-bag for his party & not for his voters. But this next election we will get rid of him for sure.We should only elect upright people who will vote the will of the people they serve--not how their party dictates.'Forcing' people to pay for anything causes the prices to go up-just wait and see.The Democrats all lie and say it will save money,if so why does it take 3+ years of taxing us extra before they start paying some out>>>Its a scam!! God said if a nation turns away from Him-He will turn his back on them--with Obama being a corrupt politician and a person who claims to be a Christian but his actions show he is not.God help our country!

to der 123- BTW- those tax cuts-you're bitching about-go to businesses-that create jobs for about 60% of us Americans! A job -you know what that is --don't you? It sounds to me like the only word you understand is--handout! If you don't understand that-maybe you understand the concept of stealing- also known as government taxation and regulation of my private property to redistribute to someone like you--that didn't earn it, doesn't deserve it, and doesn't have a "right" to it!! Contray to what you parasites believe---nobody owes you anything--other than the right to life, liberty, and the "pursuit" of happiness--emphasis on "pursuit"--in other words -no guarantees!!

to der 123---Now that you bring it up---medicare is unconstitutional! And if I am wrong --please direct me to the location in the Constitution that says ---healthcare is a "right" that has to provided by me to you ! I see a right to freedom of speech etc.-but nothing about a "right" to healthcare !!!After all I am the government-where do you think the money comes from--the tooth fairy? BTW-the government has been stealing from me for so long--medicare is now bankrupt-trillions of dolars in debt! And your beloved Marxists in Congress (Reid, Baucus, Tester, Pelosi etc.)are now going to screw you by killing Medicare (read the Senator Reid -healthcare bill if you have 34 hours to spare) by taking some 500 Billion dollars from Medicare--in order to give it to someone else! Hello to All Americans who still believe in our Constitution,
I wrote an email to an individual however I feel so strongly about this subject and the need to take back our country that I decided to post a general comment/message.
In order to change what is going on in Washington we must be more vigilant in electing people who are honest, who state with certainty their positions and values and who will with exception represent the will of there constituents and not their political parties.
Then we must hold them accountable!
In my mind both of the major parties have long gone a stray. I live in Montana and I believe it is time for both our Senators to find new careers. I would like join this cause and start the recall process.
I am willing to help file a petition, solicit and collect names and do what else I can.
I think it is a disgrace that our Senators will not li...

I live in Montana and I would very much like to recall Senator Max Baccus. I believe that his and every other senator's votes on the health care bill violate the constitution, but I know that to recall him would be very difficult. That said, how embarrasing would it be if a recall petition was even started. I don't care what the attorney general likes or doesn't like. He is a Democrat, so I would expect him to say that we can't recall Baccus. If the petition were started and started to get wings, he would have no choice but to back the wishes of the citizens of the state. If we start it here, people in other states may start similar petitions. At the very least, the senators have to respond to these petitions and this will at the very least weaken them politicly. Just the fact that there was a recall petition will hurt their political career. They will have to back away from obama an...

Senator Diane Feinstein today voted AGAINST an amendment which would have released the EPA restraint on central valley farmers from receiving water for their crops. Their crops, orchards, their fields are burning up, and there are over 40,000 unemployed agrarian workers now unemployed, and those workers and the farmers themselves are now standing in line for food. Feinstein is participating in a deliberate attempt by our government to destroy the farm production of this great state, and to eventually starve citizens throughout the United States. This state produces 60}+%of major food products not only for the United States but worldwide, there are crops which are only produced here. Beyond this reprehensible vote today, Feinstein supports Cap and Trade, The Bailouts, the all inclusive and freedom grabbing health bill, the elimination of the Second Amendment, World Government. The 18 states allow for recall of state reps and sen. The constitution currently does not allow for the people to recall US reps or sens. Each House call expell amoung other thing to their own members.
I started thining last week or so that we need to be able to do this and went to my first Tea Party last night here in Ashatabula County OH and it was not mentioned. I did mention it to a few people but nothing has been dicussed yet. I do plan on setting up a web site to see if we can't get recall done. I did find out in doing some research that an amendment was proposed in the 103rd Congress (1993-1994) but the source of that info didn't state any action taken on it.
on 4/23/2009
I contacted the Attorney General of Montana and they stated that there were no provisions to recall a US Senator. I cannot find any information and the Montana Constitution is vague enough to protect them. We have to do something NOW. The Tea Parties were a start. I have started a CNN boycott in my area, it takes time informing people, but I have found a certain amount of resistance to change due to complacency. Any suggestions?

Where is Tim Eyeman when you need him Let's get rid of these "representatives (party lackies all)" they are ruining the country with their quick, quick spending policies. No public scrutiny needed, thank you.Time to get out the pitchforks and clean house.

I am among many who are extremely angry at both sides of the aisle. I am ready to start a new party. One that supports constitutional amendment for term limits and the Fair Tax. We have a lot of groups out there that are supporting these issues also. What do we have to do get them together and united on this.

My sense is we have reached a tipping point in the American experiment - and if allowed to follow the course we are on, our way of life and standard of living will be negatively permanently.
What is needed is a new network of law-abiding citizens who are willing to spend time, effort and maybe part of their discretionary income to lead and serve to stop and reverse the extremely dangerous environment we are now in.
We have, eseentially arrived at an oligarchy of the worst kind - and are being led by people characterized by unbridled avarice, who also have little empathy for their constituents and are, in fact a kind of royalty.
The people that are leading the nation, no longer have any restrictions or oversight, or governing entities which are able to stop them from passing any law, raising any tax, and consolidating their powerful positions for themselves.
on 11/6/2008
So, how many of us are willing to take the time and effort to create change? Let me say something, unless we free ourselves from the consuming part of life (late hours at the office, 6 days a week at the ball field and every other reason not to free up a major portion of our time to consider why things are the way they are, not one of us could hope to bring an organized effort to the table none the less effectively beat the government at its own game. I agree, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and everyone else who voted for the economic bailout act should be out of a job, immediately. There were was a 100:1 stand against the bailout and yet almost all congressmen voted for it. 100:1!! try that at work or in local government and they would fire you immediately!!
I'm sorry to say, but the typical American is balless. You heard me, they lack the balls to make a decision none the less
