Return to article: How to Forgive Your Enemies
on 8/12/2008 Hi Quintal! Only now I saw your comment, because someone else left a comment after reading another article. I don’t know why I didn’t receive a message when you left yours. Anyhow, I just want to inform you that my article was written also for the victims of terror and violence. If the human being was really human and not a monster, Earth would be a peaceful planet and our world would not be governed by terrorism, violence, immorality and hypocrisy.
on 8/10/2008 awful. This isnt psychology, come on. Mistakes and lacks of understanding and empathy pop up in nearly every sentence. Yet, I dont want to bash the author so I'll give her credit for the effort and the application to a most important subject. Keep going. Just a note. People are people, they are human, and they are not monsters. They aren't ever intrinsically evil either.
on 5/22/2008 This article is just a bunch of psychobabble. Human beings should be held accountable for bad behavior. I don't advocate taking revenge, however, if a clear message isn't sent to the perpetrator, this will only enable and encourage bad behavior.
on 5/19/2008 Thank you Christina. I loved your article. It made me feel better since its a difficult thing to not retaliate. It's kind of humorous how you describe them as monsters and psychophrenic who live in asylum.
on 4/23/2008 Forgiveness is a wonderful thing, which actually makes you feel better and gives you intellectual relief. Great Article.

on 3/26/2008 Awesome article, so often people just chalk this up to a face value thing and say they forgive people when they haven't worked through anything at all. :)
on 12/22/2007 Yes, it is important to forigive your enemies, if only because to NOT do so eats you up inside. Also, I heard a great quote somewhere that went something like this: "I believe it is important to forgive your enemies, but not until after they are hanged." And who says you can't have it both ways?
on 11/23/2007 Thank you Bets422 and jamilanette for your comments! Why do we have to forgive the others? Because this is the only way we can keep peace!
on 10/13/2007 We all have a wild and evil conscience that causes craziness? Sounds like we could be our own worst enemy. Maybe we should forgive ourselves first, then work on forgiving others.
on 9/26/2007 Good advice. We should absolutely forgive in ALL cases. However, I think that you've neglected to state WHY it is important to forgive always, besides the fact that your enemies will think it strange.
