Return to article: How to Break a PC Password
on 5/26/2008 This is a wee bit scary that you know these things.
on 12/9/2007 I... uh, well... you see it's like this... No, seriously, I worked for several years as a computer tech. Breaking into a PC or laptop that the user had forgotten the password to was much easier and less time consuming than reformatting it. As a matter of fact, if you have any sensitive data that you really don't want anyone to see, I recommend storing it on a removeable hard drive and locking it up when you are not using it. If the person who wants your data is a locksmith as well as a computer nerd... well, that's another story.
on 12/9/2007 Ok I don't even want to know why you know all of this! lol
