on 9/23/2007 I agree with the last comment. Not every Mormon can actually go inside the temple, because it is a step that you take at a certain point in your life, and not everyone has taken that step yet. There will more than likely be people who are members of the Mormon church in the waiting room with you. And don't worry too much about you are wearing, if you have body piercings and anything else. While we (members of the church) dress in a certain way, we know that other people have different beliefs than us and we won't judge people for having tatoos or not wearing certain clothes. We welcome visitors, and we love answering any question you might have about us or our beliefs.

on 8/25/2007 Usually there is always a "Visitors Center" where you can enjoy a movie or walk around looking at the sculpures. All teenagers and many adults are not able to enter the temple either...Do not feel uneasy about being a spectical....you are not, you are more of the norm as far as numbers are concerned. As far as 'covering up tatoos' and wearing certain clothes, yes it is appreciated but NO ONE is ever turned away, relax and be yourself.
