on 9/9/2008 on some of my dish detergent it does say do not add bleach but it is the dawn with bleach alternative , but i do still add a small amount of bleach in with and have been for 2 years or so and it just smells different nothing else , but lately i have been usinf dawn direct foam , and 1/4 cup of bleach in the water , because my hubbys fusses about the smell of bleach but i can not clean anything with out it
on 4/21/2008 Be very very careful doing this and read the label of your dishwashing liquid. Mine warns me not to mix it with bleach, but perhaps others don't carry such a warning. Mixing anything containing ammonia with bleach produces toxic fumes and is very dangerous. Be careful!
