on 6/19/2008 Adding ground flaxseeds to your oatmeal is a quick and easy way to get them in, 2 tablespoons should do the trick.

on 12/23/2007 Good advice. Of course, easy to read, not always easy to follow. But, as you stated, it is a war, and we fight it every day.

on 11/16/2007 Hi 2nd Momma,
Sorry I took so long to answer - somehow I missed seeing a whole bunch of comments. It made me so happy to see them all but so sad that I had not replied to them. So forgive me! Fish oil and flax seed oils work like this. They are taken from natural substances - fish and flax (a grain)that are healthy foods that naturally lower cholesterol. So you get the benefit of eating flax and fish without eating it. I know that isn't terribly scientific but it is the only understanding of it I have. Thank you for your kind words and God bless! Sheila
