on 8/29/2008 If you use freon you will have bigger problems. Freon has oil in it which will stain whatever it comes in contact with. Not to mention the damage you will do to the Ozone Layer.

on 10/5/2007 spray any refrigerant like freon, or pour ice water on gum. Cold makes gum shrink,retract and harden.Scrape away with any flat blade,wrap gum in paper,throw away.
Enjoy cleaned area...
