on 7/1/2008 interesting! i don't want to marry,but to date a millionaire. lol well,i am not a gold-digger. i just think it would be an interesting experience. i am a shy girl and never know how to meet and get close to rich people since i live in a small town. to be honost, i am on a millionaires-and-their-admirers dating site called affluentmeet.com . i have a profile there but don't know what to do to get notice. -_- hope more helpful articles are available. lol

on 12/17/2007 Richard, Loved your article. I too grew up with a Mother who chanted "It's just as easy to marry a rich man as it is a poor man" and "I been rich and I been poor and rich is better." Well I'm a grown woman now and I tell my daughter, "God bless the child who got his own."

on 10/27/2007 Richard, I think you brought up some very good points. I guess the saying "money can't buy happiness" sums it up. I have friends with a lot of money, and friends with none and they all still have the same life problems.
