Return to article: How to Use Dreft Laundry Detergent
on 4/27/2008 Or make your own laundry soap. Most recipes use Borax, washing (not BAKING) soda and a bar of soap. No fragrances, no enzymes, no dyes, no harsh chemicals to irritate baby's skin. And by the way, it costs about $0.70 to make 2 gallons. Quite a bit better than Dreft!! I never used a special baby soap, because I figured baby was snuggling up to my clothes, laying on my bedsheets, etc. It just didn't make sense to me. Why not choose an eco-friendly, skin-friendly detergent and wash EVERYONE'S clothes in it all the time so you can all reap the benefits?!
