I am doing a survey on Cities in Southern California that allow street legal golf carts on their streets. If you know of these communities, please advise me as soon as possible. THANKS!

I think buying a golf cart instead of a regular car defeats the purpose of saving money. You may not have to buy gas but they go really slow, and not only that BUT you would have to not only buy the golf cart but then invest more money into it by implementing things that could make the golf cart road ready. At least with a car you can use it for all seasons. This sounds like a real good idea at 1st because it's so cool but after you start to think about it it kind of sucks. Golf carts should stay on the Golf fields. That's the whole purpose of them. This might also attract unwanted attention from police.

it will be interesting if the goverment goes ahead with the milage chips in motor vehicales to record road use and what the cost might be for going green
