on 1/14/2008 My reason for changing the ESN is to make sprint believe it's activating a 6035 Kyocera when it's really a 7135 Kyocera which they do not support. The latter the upgrade from the former, both old technology. If I'm successful using the esn of a supported phone on a unsupported one, will Sprint activate it?

on 11/8/2007 I am having a problem with "copying it back into EFS File Explorer, and let it overwrite the old one" of the step 10. The $SYS.ESN file seems to be write protected. Is there a way to make it write enabled? I am using V3m. Can anybody help? Thanks.
