Return to article: How to Get a Tutor for the SSAT
on 3/20/2008 Hi, I tutor the SSAT in New York City. Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions about the test, or my tutoring. Thanks, Sean Silverman ssilver0210@gmail.com
on 6/10/2007 Talk about a challenge! The commercial guides were OK, buy my son was not able to stay focused. That material is very complicated. Tutors were too expensive ($80/hour). Then we found www.MyTutorOnDVD.com and www.SSATtutor.com. It had several practice tests and lots of sample questions - not to mention the 30+ hours of instruction on DVD. Great product.
on 6/10/2007 Great suggestions. Because of our busy schedule, we opted for SSAT prep on DVD. I looked around and the best was, by far, www.MyTutorOnDVD.com and www.SSATtutor.com. No driving, great instruction, inexpensive - 5 stars all the way!
