Return to article: How to make Greek meat balls
on 9/15/2007 I have no experience in the kitchen, but this is help shock my parents and friends sometime ;) Thanks
on 9/11/2007 Sounds tasty! I'll have to try this.
on 6/16/2007 It's quite okay to take liberties. :) Creativity keeps things interesting!
on 6/4/2007 Good point. The traditional recipee does use mint. I'm a big cilantro afficionado...so I took some liberties. It's a nice version too, you should try it ;-)
on 6/2/2007 I find it interesting that you don't use spearmint. Most Greeks put spearmint in it, but I can see how cilantro would work as a twist on the classic recipe - it has that clean flavor. I used to make these with my yiayia - Now I know when mine are well seasoned by the way they smell, I've made them so often.
