on 11/16/2007 I'm not overweight, but I'm beginning to gain some, as for I am off season and I'm under a lot of stress. This is something that is totally honest to you, and told in great writing. I like this article, and people should be thanking you for this...As for myself - I will use this starting tonight. =]

on 8/15/2007 this is the best. 70 pounds in 6 months is amazing. i only hope i'm half as successful. =)

on 8/11/2007 half a lemon in a glass of lukewarm water early in the morning helps!
don't go for a miracle diet...just do your daily exercise...burn the fat and feed it to the muscles, there's no way you can sit and lose weight.
Find exercises in your daily routine, walk, ride the bike, use the stairs instead of the elevator.

Always keep faith in yourself and say to yourself daily...in the morning and before going to sleep:
ALL POWER IS WITHIN YOU, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!

on 8/2/2007 This was a great article and very good advice. Seems as once I hit 26 my metabolims came to a screeching hault. Being active and in the military has always kept me in shape but always wondered why I could never get those "washboard abs"? Eating right it a MUST to be successful in your weight loss and body fat reduction program. Being a recoving "sweet-a-holic", turning down those cakes, pies, and cookies was almost like turning down "AIR". I replaced the sugary snacks with a "healthy" trail mix. Not the ones w/ the M&M's in them, but the ones that have almonds, rasberries, raisins, blueberries, cranberries and peanuts in them. Trader Joe's makes an excellent Nut & Berry mix that is unsalted or sugared. I drink a lot of water and workout twice a day for 1hr. (weights in the morning, cardio @ night). Junk food is on Sunday but only for 1 meal and not the entire meal! :)

on 6/14/2007 I love your tips about getting something new to wear every 10 pounds and allowing yourself little treats. Losing weight shouldn't be torture - I'm glad you're encouraging people to go about it the right way!

on 6/10/2007 Like that you keep it real. There is no miracle...you have to give up on some stuff. Sodas are the worse. Because swapping to water can sometimes be a bit blah...I add some lemon slices to my water, or mint leaves, which gives it some taste and makes it easier to drink throughout the day.
