on 10/28/2009 let just say it all in ur genes. my hair is below the shoulder en i use relaxer, permanent highlights but it doesnt break. South Africa

on 6/6/2009 I mean not offend anybody but I mean...everyone's hair is different. I have been looking at diffent sites and researching how to fix my hair and repair it. Growing my hair came after I did that. I mean everytime I use to straihten my hair it use to just SNAP OFF!!!! :( My head was totally bald and in places my scalp showed... About 2yrs ago my girlfriend visited me from the CHI..and I was so jealous of how long and thick her hair was...you know I had to go through her bag and see what she used..,she was watching...lol...but she was using what I use now and I swear to you my hair is in the middle of my back in about 1yr and 9months times. OK. what I do is wash my hair every three days with a mild...very mild shamppoo and then apply the DNA Superb conditner..they only sell it on their website i think its Dnasuperb.com ..You can get it on EBA too. Then after I was I wouldn't put anythi...

on 3/9/2009 Less relaxers, NO permanent coloring, conditioning treatments monthly...that's it. Our hair cannot handle harsh chemicals. I do alot of pressing, mostly with a ceramic flat iron. My hair os to the middle of my back...this regimen has worked for me for 4 years now.

on 1/29/2009 The person who wrote this article sounds like a salesperson employed by beauty 4 ashes. Don't fall for the hype!!! My shoulder length hair fell out when, after a bad color job, I used a color remover to lighten my hair and immediately re-colored it, all within one week. I tried several expensive products which did NOT work! I went to a very expensive "quack" hair dresser who mixed her own potion of "essential oils" and other products she sold, but my hair still grew very slowly and continued to break. Then I remembered the 1980s and the Jheri curl moisturizing products. I used them on my bi-racial grandaughter's hair. I stopped using relaxers. I moistened my hair daily with curl activator gel, and wore my hair naturally styled. I shampoo and use Aphogee 2-step conditioner, and have someone cornrow my hair weekly. It's been about five months, and my hair has grown 3 to 4 inches.

on 4/10/2008 Hello..Might I add...When people say "Try this product it will make ur hair grow" BS!!!! There is no such thing as a hair product that can grow your faster and longer than it already is...But if you want to listen to them you go right ahead beczuse all you're doing is wasting your time on money...An dtrust me I know because i am a professional hair stylest and I work in L.A and i travel around the world doing celebrities hair..and i have seen it all...but truely the best way to have long, healthy hair is to watch the food you eat in your diet.So here's my advie ~TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT~

on 3/19/2008 Iamlee, I hate to say it but you are wrong. There is at least one product that I know of that will make your hair grow faster. I thought the same thing until I created and tried my own product which successfully grew my hair from above shoulder length to below brastrap length in a very short time. My product has increased the hair growth rate of hundreds of happy and returning customers. My product is called Gro-aut hair growth oil. With application to the scalp, it grows hair 50% faster than the normal growth rate. Customer testimonials with photos is available at: http://www.myfasthairgrowth.com/pages.php/page/testimonials and my hair care tips and hair care regime is also available at: www.myfasthairgrowth.com. There is also alot of positive feedback about my product on a hair care forum called Long hair care forum. The address is www.longhaircareforum.com.

on 3/14/2008 i wouldn't disregard the first comment about beauty4ashes products, because i don't think it's a scam. My hair used to be under my shoulder, but after using some hair color product twice in one week, my hair fell out completely. i had to cut it very very short which means a little longer than Halle berry short hair style and that was in August of 2007. i was looking around for good natural product and that's when i found out about beauty4ashes. i was very reluctant to use is but i did notice that they have some really good ingredient in it so i decided to try it. Now 7 months later, my hair has already past neck length. I am not saying that this is a miracle product and i am sure that it would not work for everyone, but i know for sure that this product is working wonderfully with my hair and ehow.com is where i found out about it. So, i was very glad that someone recommended it.

on 11/30/2007 I agree with iamlee and vasic30; you can't trust everyone and be so desperate that you fall for anything. Do what's best for you and do it naturally. The same thing you desperately fall for maybe the same thing that burn all the hair off your head...be safe...PS not saying anything bad about the advice this person gave but be careful...

on 11/29/2007 all of this sounds good except for the part about Splenda. Splenda is just like saccharin and "nutra-sweet" it's bad for you. http://www.holisticmed.com/splenda/
Try Stevia instead, it's completely natural and you can get it at any health food store: http://www.stevia.net/

on 11/15/2007 I'm a hair dresser by trade and can tell you, you don't need specific products to make your hair grow. Product recommendation like this are nothing but a scam. Sure, there are great products around and some I'd recommend over others, but a 'hair grow product'? uhuh.
Best things to do are massage the scalp well on a daily basis to keep it supple, stick to alkaline free products, eat well and yes, drink water will aid your hair growth in that it will grow more healthy. Nothing will make it grow 'faster.
