on 8/19/2007 I have had 2 African Violets. The first one died after about 6 months. The next one, which was given to me for my birthday, lasted about a year, then it died. I didn't know you had to "prune' them. I also think I may have watered it too much. I'm trying again. After reading this, I know what to do and what "not" to do.
