on 3/8/2008 It needs to be said that "white eye" is ONLY normal in animals. If you ever notice this effect in people (ESPECIALLY children under six years of age) they need an immediate eye exam. It's a symptom mainly associated with a childhood cancer (Retinoblastoma).

It is so important that people become aware of this disease, and not just chalk up an abnormal eye reaction in photos to a flash or camera glitch!
