on 12/7/2009 I also wanted your readers to know that there are plenty of video sites out there outside of YouTube (a lot of people only think of youtube)... Other sites have focus communities or purposes. For example Vimeo is a great place to post creative thought, the comments aren't like YouTube with meaningless critique (they try to create a place with constructive criticism)... Vidli is a place you can license your videos for sale or rent! Google search "video sharing sites" to find many others...

on 7/7/2009 I make my Youtube videos of PPT and SWF files, convert them with Bytescout PPT to video scout and SWF to video scout tools. What I like is that I get video of good quality and video can be saved in various formats.
