on 7/18/2007 Wonderful idea to propose on Christmas Eve, after Midnight Mass. Very romantic, with all those stars, moonlight, and candles at the service. I still think it's better for the couple to shop for the ring together afterwards though. After all, she may have been thinking "I can't dump him NOW - it's Christmas! I'll just wait till January . . ."
