on 7/23/2008 Hire a professional! Students don't have the skill to handle a wedding as they shooting everything on a tripod for commercial shoots. Just hire a professional and look at complete weddings they have produced - not just their demos. Ask for references.

on 4/22/2008 If you really are on a tight budget, consider hiring a student from your local college or university. Just call the Fine Arts department and ask if they have a video production department. When negotiating a price, be sure to call around to some professional videographers and get an idea of what they charge. Then you will have a basis from which to negotiate a good price with the student. Just make sure that your wedding video project isn't their first project. Try to get a student that has some experience.
on 10/10/2007 Ladies, the thing you do want to do is ask for a deomo dvd so you can view a sample of their work. Make sure you understand what their price does & does not include. Also ask about the time it'll take to get your wedding video, generally it takes for to six weeks. In the off season two to three weeks is more likely. Also last but nt least, make sure you have a contract that states your & their responsiblity. Any professional won't mind having a contract, in facy will perfer it. This protects you & them, especially you. happy vendor hunting & god bless you & yours. GARY RUSH Rush Videos 126 1st Ave. West Alabaster, AL. 35007 (205) 621-3787 http://www.rushvideos.com
