Return to article: How to Dress Emo (Male)
on 10/6/2008 I love emo even though I'm 40 -ish. I definitely have my black cons and anytime I shop I'm lured to the black clothing. I just told my Dh yesterday after shopping, look everything I'm leaving with is black.
on 10/3/2008 sweet emo and cute
on 4/10/2008 Well, now I know what it is at least and the fear is somewhat diminished. Thank you!
on 3/24/2008 Thanks for sharing...+++ Angel
on 3/15/2008 Oh, so that's what that is. I wasn't sure what my son was saying. Thanks for the info!
on 3/10/2008 I'm too old for this, or I'd try it. I'm afraid that style ship has sailed for me.
on 1/12/2008 Oh no.... it seems I've been dressing like an emo boy for the last ten years. I'm a girl, though! :D
on 9/5/2007 ha emo's are scarey. yet they look cool. i wish i was emo. oh wait i am. 16.3% ahh! hehe

on 7/25/2007 Love this article! Witty and well written.
on 7/24/2007 JTB... Wow, that's nostalgia there. Old J.E.W. was phenemonal as well as innovative. Pre-Hey Mercedes, Braid was awesome as well.
on 7/23/2007 I'm with rich. I was into emo music when it meant bands like jew, jtb, promise ring, and braid (and back then weezer was considered a mainstream emo band. I grew up in the midwest, where a lot of those bands came from, so maybe that's why. I'm confused as to when emo and goth got combined into what is currently called emo.
on 7/23/2007 Oh yeah, can't forget Mineral. Awesome band!
on 7/23/2007 I saw Jimmy Eat World in the basement of a UU church in PA before they ever got big and got sweat/spit on by Jim Adkins... glorious night! Fav. bands: Mineral, Get up Kids, Jimmy Eat World. I was also listening to emo around the same time as you, Rich :) great article!
on 7/23/2007 we need an article on how to dress like an industrial rivet head.
