on 7/28/2008 Wells Fargo customer service is so incompetent that I will never do business with them agai. My stepfather died and my mother has Alzheimer's, so I manage her finances. We needed to pay off a reverse mortgage debt in one year's time. Each time I spoke to customer service, I got wildly different answers about every issue. One representative said I had to pay the loan by October, another said January. I got a letter saying the house was going into foreclosure the same day I got a letter that we had an extension on the time to sell the house. I asked for a letter to say the foreclosure letter was wrong, but they couldn't do that, even though that day they said it was wrong. Do not use this bank for anything. I also had a credit card with Wells Fargo for my business, and I also had a terrible time with rude, incompetent customer service representatives who gave me incorrect informati
