on 9/27/2008 Good way

on 9/27/2008 very interesting article... Believe me this does work all the time when i clean out my microwave at home.

on 9/23/2008 Whenerver I do dishes, before i start i put bowl of water in the microwave for about 5 minutes. when I'm done with the dishes, wiping down counters and appliances I take the bowl out and wash it. Then I just
wipe out the microwave. it comes out nice and shiny and
the water has cooled enough for me to handle.

on 9/21/2008 I like to cook a wet dishcloth on high for 1 minute, then let it sit with the door closed for 3-4 minutes to cool off. This will soften baked on food, making it easy to wipe off, and also disinfects the dishcloth at the same time. Be sure to clean the area around the door especially well so that the door seals properly.

Make sure to clean any food away from the areas where the door closes to allow the door to seal properly.

on 9/19/2008 Jane1009-Microwave one cup of water and 1/4 cup lemon juice or the juice from one lemon and your microwave will smell great!

It is also a bad idea to scrap a microwave with a dull knife or other object that could scratch the surface because this can damage the microwave.

on 8/27/2008 With a large household we have learned an easy way to clean our microwave is after removing the food and crumbs to put a hot soapy cloth in the microwave on any stubborn areas, let it sit for a while (while wiping the counters and tables clean). When you return the stubborn area will be easier to wipe away.

on 6/23/2008 The heated vinegar and water worked like a charm! I've been fighting trying to clean my microwave for a while now and this took it off in no time.

on 6/20/2008 Straight white vinegar, heated, should take it right off. Heat the vinegar in a glass measuring cup for about 2 minutes. Take it out but be careful, the steam will blast you. Use a cleaning cloth dipped into the hot vinegar. Good luck!

on 5/28/2008 Vinegar and water spray bottle is also great for cleaning the Microwave Oven.

on 2/3/2008 I burned up an artichoke in MW and it smoked and left smoke on the walls of the MW and it won't come off. Will the smoke come off with the water/steam method? I'm too afraid to try it and afraid it will be permanent if it doesn't work......HELP!

on 12/26/2007 I used the method that said to use 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar and it worked AMAZING. I had to do it twice because my microwave was pretty gross, but it did work. You can also dip your rag in the vinegar water and wipe stuff that's really stuck on!
