    What version of Windows does this procedure apply to. I am using Vista Home and Can't Get Ink levels on a HP932C.

    i click on the services and it will not open to show me ink content

    I don't have that HP Printer HoustonRR but I hope this might help. You mentioned the tabs. Look under the Features tab. Towards the bottom will be 3 buttons: Factory Defaults, Help and PRINTER SERVICES. Choose the printer services button. There will be three tabs included one titled Estimated Ink Levels and choose that. Viola, it will will retrieve the approximate levels.

    I can't find a "Service Tab" on my HP D4200 printer preferences. I have 4 tabs: advanced,printing shortcuts, features, color. How can I check ink level?
