on 6/1/2007 Yes, I also love to butter the toast, and pour the beans over the butter so that it melts together. The grated tasty (extra sharp) cheese just finishes this great snack.

on 5/24/2007 I love beans on toast. I like to toast the bread early and leave it to go cold before buttering it. That way, the butter (or marg) doesn't soak into the toast, but mingles with the hot baked beans. Yummy!

on 12/13/2006 This stuff is great, and it's typically easy to find the beans most anywhere. Any tomato-based, vegetarian bean would work, as many times the pork & beans found in the cans in most stores are molasses based.
