on 1/6/2009 In response to "dodie11said" about her Graco stroller, I too have a mildew stain on my Graco stroller and it was a pain to disassemble the padding and hood, but you just have to unscrew some parts to get it off. I couldn't figure out how to take off the basket though. That might just have to be washed with soap and water with your hose outside. I put my strollers padding in the wash twice. The stain is still there, just not as bad. I am going to try the peroxide.

on 9/23/2008 The easiest and fool proof way that I have found to remove mold from washable fabrics is to wet the molded area with peroxide, lay the iten on grass on a sunny day. You should rewet the molded area several times as it dries. This is the best remedy I have found. I always follow up with a wash with some bleach, but the peroxide is a win win remedy.

on 9/6/2008 I have a Graco stroller. The bottom basket and the top awning do not come off. They have black mildew stains on them. Any idea how to clean it. Thank you

on 5/17/2008 This is how to get mold and mildew out of clothes and how to get the smell of mildew out of clothes SmellyWasher Cleaner is a completely organic powder that is used to clear fungus from any clothes washer. The cleaner is used by adding a small amount (1 tablespoon normally suffices) to a hot setting in your washer and allowing it to complete the cycle.
In order to remove fungus from towels and clothing use just one teaspoon of cleaner instead of detergent. Rinse and dry as normal. This product is super simple and works great! I found the product at www.smellytowel.com

on 4/2/2008 Does anyone know if you can use the Tilex on a clothing fabric not designed for outdoors?

on 7/31/2006 I use Mean Green cleanser to remove mold from everything. It is inexpensive and works on almost everything.

on 3/26/2006 Our boat-cushion covers had quite a bit of mildew on them after a winter on the water. I tried laundry soap and bleach with no luck. TILEX mildew spray for the shower removed all the stains. I had to reapply it in several areas, but the cushions looked like new. I have tried this on several other mildew stains on fabric and it also worked.

on 11/22/2005 I found that mixing Oxi clean with just enough Tide powder to make a paste works wonderful!

on 11/22/2005 The dry cleaners said it couldn't be done! I had two suede jackets with 4 years of mildew that no one would touch. I tried a medium concentration of "TKO" orange concentrate and sprayed it right on the jackets one area at a time, sponging as I went. The solution does not stain, and it smells nice!

on 11/22/2005 I've been using Oxi Clean for the past month. I've gotten every stain out. I swear by it and will not use anything else. I've even gotten old tea stains out. I was going to throw away some old baby clothes that were stained, but before I did I thought I would try using Oxi. I have now stored those clothes away for the next baby that comes around.
