on 1/15/2008 All you need is a new tennis ball and a pushbroom handle. Cut a crisscross slit (about 1/2" slits) and simply screw the handle into the ball and you're ready to attack those scuffs. Some deep scuffs will take a little more muscle power than others, but surface scuffs come up with little effort.
on 3/3/2006 I found that rubbing a small amount of Goo Gone on the scuff mark takes it right off and doesn't harm the floor.
on 11/22/2005 I'm in the floor cleaning business and do this every day. Wearing tennis shoes just shuffle your foot over the mark, most scuff marks will come right off.
on 11/22/2005 Just put a small amount of regular fingernail polish remover on a white cloth and wipe them up, the scuff marks will disappear.
on 11/22/2005 Disguise minor scuff marks on dark wood, skirting, or table legs by applying a little gravy browning (use sparingly).

on 11/22/2005 I find that if you use lemon oil (furniture oil) to cover the shower doors, it eliminates that white scum buildup and gives the doors a clear appearance.
on 11/22/2005 De-Solv-It citrus solution from Wal-Mart works. Just spray it on and the scuff marks wipe up. It has a nice citrus smell, is biodegradable and works for removing lots of other problems.
on 11/22/2005 Put sponges in dishwasher. They will come out clean. I do this all the time.
on 11/22/2005 Take a white sheet of paper. Rub it on the scuff mark. Voil! It's gone!
