on 11/22/2005 I had my best friend's wedding invitation framed and matted. In the same frame, below the wedding invitation, I had a silver plaque mounted, upon which was engraved the couple's wedding announcement. It was a big hit.
on 11/22/2005 Go to the shower with your camera and several rolls of film and take lots of pictures--don't be shy. After the film is developed, put the photos in a small photo album and present it to the bride.
on 11/22/2005 Get the name & address of each shower guest from the hostess. Buy (or make) nice notecards. Stamp & address the envelopes. At the shower, take notes (what & who) as gifts are opened. The thank-you notes will be half-done & the bride will appreciate it!
