We found that using quickies nail varnish remover pads with vitamin B5 works really well for biro and permanent ink stains on leather furniture and skin, be careful though, don't put too much or the leather goes tacky!!!

Not all leather is created equal obviously!! Magic eraser did not work at all. Dish soap did not work at all. Rubbing alcohol NO, NO, NO. It discolored my favorite chocolate brown leather couch. I tried the baby shampoo and it worked okay. The pen marks are still a little visible but you have to look real hard to see them. Thanks and no thanks for the above suggestions.

I tried baby shampoo, milk, rubber eraser... Well, Jean Paul Gaultier was right: colognes and perfumes works magic. Used Q-tip with perfume, to prevent any possible decoloration.

After reading this, I just tried hairspray. Sprayed aerosol onto an old dry cloth, one wipe 30 minutes after mark was made and it's gone completely.

I tried the alchohol on my beautiful new italian leather sofa to remove an old ink spot. The ink came out with a problem but I think the rubbing lightened the color of my sofa. In my opinion this is WORST. Now what in the world can I do to bring the color and luster back to my sofa??? HELP!!!

Amway's LOC is the best thing we have found to remove ink from leather so far. In fact, it has removed everything that has stained the leather.

My 4 year old son decided to show his creative side on our tan leather sofa and leather seats in our vehicle. I tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, hair spray and those did not work for me. The only thing that worked well was alcohol prep pads I had from the hospital. They worked excellent on my truck's leather, but not the best on my sofa. The sofa is a little bit darker and took a lot of the color out. But, did remove the ink. The ink in the vehicle's leather came out much better and did not remove the color of the leather. I think that this is because the leather is lighter. Now what to do with my 4 year old artist.

I used a small amount of milk on a clean was cloth and it completely removed all the blue, red and black ink that was on my cream colored leather couches! I've gone as far as buying 13 dollars and + products to remove this numerous times and something as simple as milk worked!

I had my first Coach purse for less than a week and got 3 ink marks on it! I was sick! Believe it not, I used a pink pencil eraser in circular motions on the ink marks and all are gone. I didn't lose any of the color on my purse and my purse now looks like new again!

I removed ink stains from a leather wallet with nail varnish remover. It is a harsh chemical so be very careful - I would use a cotton bud (q-tip) to apply the solution only to the ink itself, not the surrounding area. The finish on my wallet is now less shiny, and some color has come off (it is green) but looks better than with the ink!
