on 8/8/2006 Carry a memento in a shirt pocket or as part of your "something old" from a grandparent or parent who is ill or passed away. My daughter's grandmother was in a nursing home and could not attend, so my daughter carried a bouquet identical to the one her grandmother carried many years ago and included that fact in a special message to her grandmother in the wedding program. We also sent a small identical arrangement to grandma on this special day and followed up with wedding pictures of her grand-daughter carrying "grandma's flowers".

on 11/22/2005 Send close family and friends a vase of fresh flowers in your wedding colors. You can also have the florist use some of the same flowers that are being featured in the bouquets and boutonnieres.
