on 9/5/2006 It is very easy to make your own and very cheap. Buy a 1x4 board that is 8 or 10 feet long. I use a 8 foot one. Drill 2 holes in each piece at the top about 3 inches from the top, about 2 inches separate the holes. Use 2 eyebolts that are 1.5 inches long. Put the eyebolts in with an eye on each side. Buy a net with a rope top (getting a rope top net makes it easier to tighten). Get a couple of C clamps that are either unscrewed or click in. Use them to click the net to the eyebolt.

For the guide lines, buy a round ring and 4 pieces of rope that are 15 feet long (from a hardware store), tie one end of 15 foot to the ring. Send the other end through the eyebolt, take that end and loop it twice through the ring. Make two of those guide lines for each side and you are done.

Tie a loop on each piece of rope that a large nail or stake goes through. I have two I use at the park and it great. Just as good as the $300 plus you can paint the wood to make it unique even have your name on it!

on 11/22/2005 When deciding between just a net and a net system, ask yourself, will I EVER want to play anywhere but the place that has permanent poles. I bought a net because it was a good deal and thought I could MAKE poles cheaper. Nope
