on 2/13/2007 I actually have two questions. How do I make a really nice knot at the back of the head. Also How do I make the beginning knot for the large twists?

Thanks Crisha

on 1/6/2007 To secure a small braid, tie a piece of thread that matches your hair color. If the braid is very tight, it will stay in for weeks!

on 7/8/2006 If you want to learn how to braid hair, go to a beauty shop and take a doll's head with you. Watch the stylist braid the doll's hair till you get it. Do what makes you feel comfortable, because everyone doesn't braid the same way. Get the technique from them and add your own twist to it.

on 6/30/2006 If you are trying to braid thick, curly, or coarse hair, remember this: a good hair moisturizer is your friend. Pantene and Frizz-Ease both have good ones. Smooth some through your hair while it is damp. This will make your hair easier to detangle and more manageable. And if you are braiding a young child's hair, this will cut down on a) the amount of time they have to sit still, and b) the ouch factor.

on 3/21/2006 I've looked at the description and as I was reading it I was plaiting my hair. This really works as suddenly I realized that it was my super fast method. This is fantastic and it makes me able to do the whole of my head in braids (very small braids) in about 2 hours!

on 3/20/2006 Get someone to braid your hair. Take it down about half way. Try to braid it back. Keep trying until you get it.

on 3/17/2006 After I do each braid I usually spray my head for flyaways that I couldn't braid and flatten them so they don't become fuzz balls on my head, and a pain to get out. This also works somewhat better with gel. Don't mix hair products together thinking it will be like a super gel. It doesn't work and it destroys your hair.
