I actually find it better if I clean less (for instance, I used to clean my face 4-5 times a day, but now I clean just 1 or 2 times a day). I think the oils in your skin act as a balm.

Do not take long, hot showers all the time as this causes pimples to appear (more so on the back than the face). Instead, use warm water and reduce the amount of time in taking a shower.

Don't touch your pimples, because it can cause them to stay there longer, and you might get oil on them. Wash your face two times a day. Avoid eating too much junk food, and eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water. If you drink sodas or fizzy drinks, they make you more thirsty, and they are the same as junk food. Ask your local doctor if there is a treatment that is suitable for your skin.

Also try rubbing alcohol, for the same reasons as peroxide.

My face is very sensitive, and I don't like using benzoyl peroxide because it can accelerate aging in your skin and dry it out, stimulating your glands to produce more sebum. I buy cinnamon bark extract, mix it with water, and pat a slight amount on the affected area. Cinnamon is a known antibacterial and antifungal agent. I also make sure to take my flax oil, and at night I don't put regular moisturizer on. Instead, I use a little bit of flaxseed oil. Flax oil is an essential fatty acid that your skin prefers to use for sebum production. When your body lacks essential fatty acids, your skin has to make sebum out of less desirable fats which clog your pores easily. Flaxseed oil will not clog your pores. In addition, I use a moisturizer with green tea in it. Stress hormones or testosterone in your body can turn on sebum production. Green tea is known to block this reaction to some extent, so that you don't overproduce sebum.

Regularly clean the receiver to the phone on your desk. Whenever I start breaking out around my chin, I clean the receiver with an antibacterial cleaner, and the acne clears up. Switching to a hand-free headset is also a good solution.

I started to get pimples on my forehead in the fourth grade! The cause of that was that I started to eat a lot of chocolate. I try to avoid chocolate and the acne is getting much better. Some of the things that I'm using are Noxema pads (which make your pimples dry), and I am also drinking plenty of water. Try to avoid greasy foods (and the chocolate). One last tip is to wash your face daily to get rid of bacteria and other things that cause pimples.

Keep your face cleaned, wash it 2-3 times daily. Use a soap, select one and use it, if it isn't work change it. after wash your face use a deep cleans pad, and a cream. Don't use too much, use what you need, and wait. Also controling your diet could help a lot, avoid chocolate and fat in excess. (Be Patient)

I myself am currently struggling with acne and had put myself down about it many times. I don't any more, because my Mom and my doctor made it clear to me about why I'm struggling so much. The reason for your acne (if you're a teen) is simply the fact that you're going through puberty. You have to accept that - you can't change it! Girls, if you are premenstrual, that will cause break outs. Remember that it's not your fault! The break outs will pass, it's just a stage. If it really bothers you, talk about it with a parent, and visit a dermatologist. One thing you must always keep in mind - never compare yourself to people at school with perfect skin! They will eventually go through what you are going through and (most likely) by that time your face will be the perfect one. Don't give up!

Every time I have a pimple, I put milk on it and that helps shrink the pimple.

I know some people say that these foods causing pimples is a myth, but (at least for me personally) it's very true. Anytime I eat a significant amount of sweets or oily foods, I notice that new pimples crop up within one day. The more excessive the amount I've eaten, the more I can expect to break out. It works this way for me without fail.

Always drink lots of water. Avoid sodas, chocolate, and greasy food. For a really red, swollen pimple, put a piece of ice in a damp washcloth and hold it to the pimple. It may sting, but the pimple will decrease in size.

I wash my face 2-3 times a day and after physical activity. After I wash, I just put rubbing alcohol on my face with a cotton swab. If you do get pimples, they will go away quickly.

Cutting down on fats and chocolate is good for your body...But when they say that it can improve your complexion, Well that's a myth!! Just be sure to take care of your skin and drink lots of water to clean them out!

I have had more skin problems starting at age 30 than I did in the teen years and 20s. I am 50 and have bought books, magazines, and consulted dermatologists. Here are a few avoidances I have tried. Replace compact and loose powder puffs often. Clean your powder brushes often. Find a convenient method of transferring the loose powder to the puff or brush without repeatedly dipping directly into the powder. Discontinue using pressed powder or do not leave the puff inside the compact. Use liquid makeup in a pump or squeeze containers rather than a bottle to reduce cross-contamination. Do not refresh makeup without a thorough cleansing. Here's something I tried after a severe outbreak: I stayed home over the weekend (I did not want to go out in public anyway). I used a clear gel medication (Metrogel) prescribed by my primary doctor. I had minimal success with Metrogel on other occasions, but this time I used it steadily for an entire weekend. I cleansed with it several times a day (using a clean cloth and hand towel each time), reapplied the Metrogel, and left it on for a few hours. Repeat the cleansing and application cycle and do not use any makeup. The results on Monday were dramatic.

The most important things are to drink lots of water and to not touch your face. I wash my face twice a day. I find that Clearasil sensitive deep clean cleanser helps a lot. If you are somewhere and your face looks oily, just rinse it with water and it will look better. Also, washing your face with salt makes it nice and smooth. The ice cube method is good. Toothpaste works and so does steaming your face with a hot cloth. And for those of you who think that junk food makes you break out? Don't, because it's not true.

Wash your face in the morning and at night. After exercising or sports, wash your face again to remove any dirt, oil, or sweat which may add up to pimples. There is also no scientific proof that says chocolate and greasy foods create pimples.
