Washing your face 2-3 times a day is not NECESSARILY a good thing. Washing your face that many times can (and probably will) dry out your face, causing more acne. Acne is caused by 2 things: overproduction of oil (caused by puberty) and build up of dead skin cells. I suggest the following to cure acne: 1) Take an all around vitamin supplement. This will help your skin function properly. 2) Wash your face once a day with a gentle cleanser (Purell or Cetaphil). 3) If your face isn't that sensitive, use 2% salycilic acid during the day to exfoliate all the dead skin cells. 4) Use benzoyl peroxide or sulfur at night to kill the bacteria. Give it 2 weeks to see results. If all this doesn't work, go get a prescription from a dermatologist. If you are reading this, I'll bet the acne is destroying your self confidence... -

The most important things are to drink lots of water and to not touch your face. I wash my face twice a day. I find that Clearasil sensitive deep clean cleanser helps a lot. If you are somewhere and your face looks oily, just rinse it with water and it will look better. Also, washing your face with salt makes it nice and smooth. The ice cube method is good. Toothpaste works and so does steaming your face with a hot cloth. And for those of you who think that junk food makes you break out? Don't, because it's not true. -

So you wake up on a beautiful Tuesday morning. You walk to your bathroom to do your dailey treatmeants. Brush your hair, brush your teeth. You look in the mirrior only to find more and more pimples everyday. I personsally had a problem with acne. Preventing my pimples wasn't easy. I changed my pillow case every night beside i went to bed. Oxy Pads and Cetaphil never worked for me. And other drug store creams and acne treaters never worked either. I have an Acne Soap from a Bulk store that I use before bed and in the morning. In 2 days my pimples were gone. I also drank 4-7 tall glasses of water a day. It no time my face is clear and beautiful. -

I can't speak for everyone, but I noticed that when I am stressed out, I tend to break out. Also, drinking water, getting enough sleep, and exercising have all helped clear my complexion. Eating lots of chili/hot foods tend to bring on pimples too. -

As we all know, all of us get at least 1 pimple whether big or small. I've found that using Tea Tree Oil overnight is good. It breaks down the pus inside your pores or your pimples. Also, use facial masks to cleanse your skin at least once every 2 weeks. For those big pussed up pimples, try buying a cover stick which heals as well (such as Clean and Clear's new one). -

If you don't want to use products from the doctor, a great way to get rid of pimples is to use rubbing alcohol on them. It dries them out and will soon make your pimples disappear. -

Okay, this tip is long but read it and you will discover EXACTLY how to get rid of your acne! I did this for about a month and I haven't had a pimple in 4 months! And I now have BEAUTIFUL skin. Honest! Okay, so here's the day-by-day routine you should follow. Use this in the morning, before bed, or whenever you have the time: 1. When you wake up, wash your face with lukewarm water. Make sure you're gentle and don't scrub. 2. Moisten your face with warm water, then exfoliate your skin with a cleanser that's non-comedegenic. I use Biore Mild Daily Cleansing Scrub for ALL skin types. It's cheap and works! 3. Then if you have time, steam your face. I boil water on the stove for about 5 minutes and then pour it in a bowl and drape a towel over my face. I steam my face for 5-10 minutes, usually depending on how much time I have. Steam is REALLY good for your face. Do it at least once or twice a week. 4. Next you'll want to apply a facial mask. Clay and mud masks work really well. Or you could use an egg mask. It leaves your skin feeling beautiful and looking beautiful. Just beat an egg yolk and let it sit on your face for about 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water. 5. If you want, you can use a toner now but I don't bother because I have a nice skin complexion. 6. Finally, apply non-comedegenic moisturizer for about 10-15 minutes on wet-moistened skin and rinse off. (If this was in the morning I would usually just apply my makeup and do whatever but if you're doing this before bedtime, I suggest the following...) 7. Apply medicated formula such as benzoyl peroxide or saliycic acid. I used those and they didn't really work. Wait one or two weeks after using an acne medication and see which one works the best. For me, tea tree oil really worked. I applied it every night before bed and in 3 days my pimples started disappearing. I also used toothpaste before bed if I had a red or irritated pimple. But I didn't use too much because it can burn your skin. Also remember to use lemon juice and zinc oxide cream. 8. Get at least 9 hours of sleep every night, drink lots of water, take multivitamin and mineral pills, as well as garlic or zinc supplements, and eat HEALTHY. Exercising and taking yoga or meditating can relieve stress and remove acne from your life. Go ahead and try my method. It does work! -

I've been using many brands of anti-acne products, but they didn't work. Then I discovered the pearl cream. I used exfoliating facial wash and the cream 3 times a day. After a week, my face was clear and clean. -

I realized that when I drink milk or eat any dairy product, my face breaks out even more that usual. I started to drink Soy Milk and replaced ice cream with Toffuti "Ice Cream". My face has dramatically cleared up. -

Use benzoyl peroxide only at night so that it doesn't get exposed to the sun. Apply it on the affected area. In the morning, wash your face with a mild moisturizing soap, because the medication might dry your skin. Pat your face dry. Never pick at your face. It leaves scars, and may even end up making pimples bigger. -

I have tried these tips. Trust me, they do work! 1.) If you put toothpaste on your pimple, it may just irritate it and make it bigger or redder. 2.) If you put ice on your pimple, it will reduce the redness and it make it a bit smaller, but only for a limited amount of time. 2.) Wash your face about 2 times a day, especially where the pimple is. 3.) Avoid picking it or touching it too much. -

Take a warm shower. The warmth makes steam, and steam helps block pores. Wash your face with Aqunil (a dermatologist-recommended cleanser) twice daily. Use some moisturizer twice daily. Don't put on a lot of heavy makeup, because it will give you more pimples. Don't touch your face with hair or hands. Before you sleep, drink some herbal tea, and try to clear your mind. Sleep no more than 8 hours a night. -

If you have oily skin with pimples, I suggest you rub only alcohol on your entire face. Do that once in the morning and once a night before you go to bed. Then put Neosporin on every pimple at night. It has always worked for me. -

Just stop touching the pimple and eat plenty of foods that contain vitamin B6. -

I know this product is reasonably expensive, but I bought it after trying a lot of products (like Oxy 10 which didn't do too much for me). Neutrogena On-the-Spot acne treatment takes away the swelling in about 20 minutes and makes the pimples almost invisible. It cleared half my pimples in about 5 days. Also I found that drinking water helps a lot. I started drinking water just to improve my bad diet, but I found my pimples started to go away. I only get stress related pimples now. Also, changing your pillow case and trying to avoid touching your face is good. If you get a pimple it is sometimes a reaction to squeeze it, sometimes this will take it away. But, in most cases squeezing it will cause irritation to your skin and make it worse, or just leave you back where you started. I find when my gel or wax touches my forehead I often get spots where it touches, so I try to avoid this. I try to avoid my hair touching my face at all, I sometimes just gel my fringe up when I'm not going out and it works for me. -

Take a zinc supplement once a day. It'll help you get rid of pimples, fast. Zinc is found in many foods. However, on average one tablet of zinc contains 150% of your daily need. -

Try to dot Mario Badescu on your problem pimples and it will clear up in 3 nights (or less), it works very, very well. Also there is Kiehl's blue herbal spot treatment, it is more strong and works amazingly. Try it and your complexion will be pimple free in no time. -

Do not drink Red Bull, Cool Rhino, Tongkat Ali, or any other drinks which can stimulate hormones in your body. Wash your face as regularly as possible, change your pillow cases often, wash handphone covers, eat less oily foods, and drink more water. Benzoyl Chloride can dry up your skin. Stop using all Benzoyl Chloride products and switch to something milder. Seek out a dermatologist who genuinely cares. -

Always wash your face. Never go to bed with your make-up on. This will only clog your pores. No matter how late at night, I always wash my face before bed. And first thing in the morning. -

After I use the benzoyl peroxide before going to sleep, in the morning I put Cleocin T on the affected area. Use tis moizturizing lotion as recomended by the bottle and/or the dermatologist. This really helps and one won't have dry , peeling skin. Trust me it will not cause pimples to become bigger or more pimples to arrive. -

When you wash your face, avoid over-scrubbing it. Rinse your face off lightly with water, since over-scrubbing it with a towel or other product can spread bacteria on your face and worsen acne. Also, I find that using a small amount of benzoyl peroxide on problem areas helps. Try to drink plenty of water, too. -

If you do wash your face nightly, make sure you don't skip any nights. You're more prone to pimples if you are religious about washing your face and then skip a few days. I went on retreat and I forgot my facial cleanser. Now I have 3 huge zits on my face and homecoming is next week. -

One a pimple has gotten to it's highest peak, in size, add touthpaste on it and around it. Make sure the toothpaste isnt a little kid toothpaste, it has to be strong. One you apply it, wait for 10 seconds and you will start to feel a tingle meaning it is cleaning the pimple and making it smaller.
