on 11/22/2005 I started to get pimples on my forehead in the fourth grade! The cause of that was that I started to eat a lot of chocolate. I try to avoid chocolate and the acne is getting much better. Some of the things that I'm using are Noxema pads (which make your pimples dry), and I am also drinking plenty of water. Try to avoid greasy foods (and the chocolate). One last tip is to wash your face daily to get rid of bacteria and other things that cause pimples.

on 11/22/2005 Do not drink Red Bull, Cool Rhino, Tongkat Ali, or any other drinks which can stimulate hormones in your body.

Wash your face as regularly as possible, change your pillow cases often, wash handphone covers, eat less oily foods, and drink more water.

Benzoyl Chloride can dry up your skin. Stop using all Benzoyl Chloride products and switch to something milder. Seek out a dermatologist who genuinely cares.

on 11/22/2005 I've been using many brands of anti-acne products, but they didn't work. Then I discovered the pearl cream. I used exfoliating facial wash and the cream 3 times a day. After a week, my face was clear and clean.

1.) If you put toothpaste on your pimple, it may just irritate it and make it bigger or redder.

2.) If you put ice on your pimple, it will reduce the redness and it make it a bit smaller, but only for a limited amount of time.

2.) Wash your face about 2 times a day, especially where the pimple is.

3.) Avoid picking it or touching it too much.

on 11/22/2005 Before I go to bed every second or third night, I wash my pillow cases. Bacteria and oil from your face will build up on the case. For people that rarely wash their linens, washing your pillow cases is a great way to reduce acne.

Wash your face with Aqunil (a dermatologist-recommended cleanser) twice daily.

Use some moisturizer twice daily.

Don't put on a lot of heavy makeup, because it will give you more pimples.

Don't touch your face with hair or hands.

Before you sleep, drink some herbal tea, and try to clear your mind.

Sleep no more than 8 hours a night.

on 11/22/2005 I cannot emphasize enough how much water will help. I used to have blackheads around my nose and all over my forehead. I had HUGE breakouts on my chin all the time and whiteheads all over my forehead. I tried so many things, and then I started drinking lots of water. By "lots," I mean about 12 tall glasses a day. I have completly clear, beautiful skin now.
Also (although they say it's a myth), I notice that I will break out a little whenever I eat a lot of sugar or simple carbohydrates (such as white bread, white rice, etc).

on 11/22/2005 Use benzoyl peroxide only at night so that it doesn't get exposed to the sun. Apply it on the affected area. In the morning, wash your face with a mild moisturizing soap, because the medication might dry your skin. Pat your face dry. Never pick at your face. It leaves scars, and may even end up making pimples bigger.

Avoid eating too much junk food, and eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water. If you drink sodas or fizzy drinks, they make you more thirsty, and they are the same as junk food. Ask your local doctor if there is a treatment that is suitable for your skin.

Anytime I eat a significant amount of sweets or oily foods, I notice that new pimples crop up within one day. The more excessive the amount I've eaten, the more I can expect to break out. It works this way for me without fail.

on 11/22/2005 Daily sun exposure can damage and age your skin, so always apply sunscreen with at least SPF 15 to protect against UVA and UVB rays when you are going out. Also, isopropyl rubbing alcohol is very irritating to the skin. It will strip the top layer of your skin and actually cause the oil glands to secrete more oil to stay in balance. This can cause more blemishes and dry, red skin. Here are some tips:

1) Avoid excessive sun exposure. Small amounts of sun exposure will initially improve acne, but not much.

2) Avoid supplements with iodine in amounts greater than the RDA of 150 mcg.

3) Don't pick your skin. Squeezing or picking blemishes can force bacteria deeper into the skin.

4) Avoid stress. Stress can raise the level of the hormone cortisone, which causes increased secretion of oil.

5) Lead a healthy lifestyle. By eating a balanced diet, getting adequate sleep, exercise, and drinking plenty of water, you can help your skin look its healthy best.
