on 11/22/2005 I realized that when I drink milk or eat any dairy product, my face breaks out even more that usual. I started to drink Soy Milk and replaced ice cream with Toffuti "Ice Cream". My face has dramatically cleared up.

on 7/22/2007 The most important things are to drink lots of water and to not touch your face. I wash my face twice a day. I find that Clearasil sensitive deep clean cleanser helps a lot. If you are somewhere and your face looks oily, just rinse it with water and it will look better. Also, washing your face with salt makes it nice and smooth. The ice cube method is good. Toothpaste works and so does steaming your face with a hot cloth. And for those of you who think that junk food makes you break out? Don't, because it's not true.

on 11/22/2005 So you wake up on a beautiful Tuesday morning. You walk to your bathroom to do your dailey treatmeants. Brush your hair, brush your teeth. You look in the mirrior only to find more and more pimples everyday. I personsally had a problem with acne. Preventing my pimples wasn't easy. I changed my pillow case every night beside i went to bed. Oxy Pads and Cetaphil never worked for me. And other drug store creams and acne treaters never worked either. I have an Acne Soap from a Bulk store that I use before bed and in the morning. In 2 days my pimples were gone. I also drank 4-7 tall glasses of water a day. It no time my face is clear and beautiful.

on 11/22/2005 Try to dot Mario Badescu on your problem pimples and it will clear up in 3 nights (or less), it works very, very well. Also there is Kiehl's blue herbal spot treatment, it is more strong and works amazingly. Try it and your complexion will be pimple free in no time.

on 11/22/2005 If you have oily skin with pimples, I suggest you rub only alcohol on your entire face. Do that once in the morning and once a night before you go to bed. Then put Neosporin on every pimple at night. It has always worked for me.

on 11/22/2005 I know this product is reasonably expensive, but I bought it after trying a lot of products (like Oxy 10 which didn't do too much for me).
Neutrogena On-the-Spot acne treatment takes away the swelling in about 20 minutes and makes the pimples almost invisible. It cleared half my pimples in about 5 days.

Also I found that drinking water helps a lot. I started drinking water just to improve my bad diet, but I found my pimples started to go away. I only get stress related pimples now. Also, changing your pillow case and trying to avoid touching your face is good. If you get a pimple it is sometimes a reaction to squeeze it, sometimes this will take it away. But, in most cases squeezing it will cause irritation to your skin and make it worse, or just leave you back where you started. I find when my gel or wax touches my forehead I often get spots where it touches, so I try to avoid this. I try to avoid my hair touching my face at all, I sometimes just gel my fringe up when I'm not going out and it works for me.

on 11/22/2005 As a person who has had acne problems since 10th grade, I have tried everything in the stores. Finally it got to a point where the acne was really bothering me, so I went to my family doctor. He looked at it and decided to give me a simple antibiotic. This antibiotic is doing great, it almost completely took the acne away, now I just have scars. Forget all about the store products that waste your money, see your doctor and you will never worry again.

on 11/22/2005 Paula's Choice skin care products are FABULOUS. She uses ONLY fragrance-free, non-irritating, beneficial ingredients. Her exfoliant and her benzoyl peroxide contain only the stuff your skin needs and contain nothing your skin doesn't need. Used daily, they truly do prevent acne and make your skin look extremely healthy.

on 11/22/2005 You can't spot-treat a pimple. The best way to avoid having to deal with pimples is to PREVENT them in the first place. When you see a pimple on your face, it has already been 2-3 weeks in the making. There is really nothing you can do to it once you actually SEE it on your face. A gentle non-irritating cleanser, a GENTLE non-irritating exfoliant, and a gentle non-irritating benzoyl peroxide (start with the 2.5%) will do the trick. Following these 3 simple steps at night before you go to bed will prevent pimples before they start. And, make sure that everything you put on your face is fragrance-free.

on 11/22/2005 The best way to keep healthy looking skin is to drink water, wash your face in the morning and at night. In the winter months the best thing to use on your face is vitamin E, depending on your skin type. If you have dry skin then vitamin E is the best thing for you. Dot your face with your finger tips, and rub the vitamin E on in a circular motion, pushing your face upward.

on 11/22/2005 If you don't want to use products from the doctor, a great way to get rid of pimples is to use rubbing alcohol on them. It dries them out and will soon make your pimples disappear.

on 11/22/2005 I myself am currently struggling with acne and had put myself down about it many times. I don't any more, because my Mom and my doctor made it clear to me about why I'm struggling so much. The reason for your acne (if you're a teen) is simply the fact that you're going through puberty. You have to accept that - you can't change it! Girls, if you are premenstrual, that will cause break outs. Remember that it's not your fault! The break outs will pass, it's just a stage. If it really bothers you, talk about it with a parent, and visit a dermatologist. One thing you must always keep in mind - never compare yourself to people at school with perfect skin! They will eventually go through what you are going through and (most likely) by that time your face will be the perfect one. Don't give up!

on 11/22/2005 Do not take long, hot showers all the time as this causes pimples to appear (more so on the back than the face). Instead, use warm water and reduce the amount of time in taking a shower.

on 11/22/2005 Just stop touching the pimple and eat plenty of foods that contain vitamin B6.

on 11/22/2005 For help with pimples, trying keeping up with a routine. This is what I do every day:
Before bed -
* I rinse my face with water.
* I rub peroxide over the infected areas.
* I put Clean and Clear lotion over my entire face.
* I put small dabs of toothpaste over the infected areas.

In the mornings -
* I rinse my face with water.
* I put Clean and Clear lotion over the infected areas (rub in well).
* I put Clearasil foundation over the infected areas. The foundation is made of an acne fighting medication that not only covers up the acne, it helps to heal it as well.
