    1) Always wash your face before bed, or the dirt and oil will get into pores and cause zits. 2) Hands off! 3) Apply moisturizer only where you're dry. Choose a noncomedogenic formula (won't clog pores). 4) Wear oil-free makeups. 5) Eat protein (like salmon or tofu) and nutrient-rich green veggies everyday. And the vitamin C in citrus can actually help pimples heal faster. 6) Water works! At least eight cups of H2O a day and more if you exercise, it helps detoxify and hydrate your skin from inside out. 7) Avoid cigarettes! When you take a puff, the nicotine constricts blood vessels, slowing the flow of oxygen and blood your skin needs to be healthy. 8) Getting plenty of beauty sleep, about eight hours is ideal for most people.

I started doing this as a teenager and it never fails. Although taking zinc supplements can be good, at first they can actually make you break out as your body tries to get rid of toxins. Instead, whether you have a small or large pimple, or even a boil, take one zinc tablet (natural zinc please) and crush it into a powder. Brush the powder onto a spoon and add at most 2 drops of water. Mix it into a paste then apply it directly onto the pimple or boil. Put a Band-aid over it and go to sleep. Next morning, the swelling will be almost all gone and the head will be gone and the pain will be gone. If it was a small pimple, it will practically be gone. Do this one more time the following evening and the pimple will be gone by day 2, except for some red marking if it was a large one to begin with. Boils can take longer, but the pain and puss will be gone by day 2.

Prevent pimples: Try and drink more water and also just make sure you cleanse every night with a gentle cleanser and if you have dry skin then moisturize. I don't advise using a toner unless you have very oily skin as it will just encourage more oil out of the sebacous glands. If you have pimples: Drink 2 liters of water a day and try sleeping for at least 8 hours a night. Cut down on processed foods and include lots of fruit and veg. I really do suggest making fruit smoothies and juices! For the smoothies, simply blend a lot of fresh fruit, for example strawberries, raspberries and banana. DON'T add milk or ice cream to your smoothie. For the juice, try a carrot and tomato juice (carrot is exceptionally good for your skin) Just experiment with those smoothies and juices using a variety of fruit and veg and you will see a lot of improvement with your skin condition.

Look in health food stores or Asian supermarkets for adzuki beans. Grind a handful to a fine powder in a clean coffee grinder. Put half a teaspoon in your palm, and add a little water to make a gritty paste. Gently scrub and massage into your skin, concentrating on possible oily areas. Rinse thoroughly. For a more gentle formula, grind half adzuki beans and half oatmeal.

Water is good, so is the juice of apples, carrots, cucumbers and pineapples (canned juice if fresh is not available). Drink this if possible day and night to see cooling effects. Salicylic acid works best for me and so do clay masks. Avoid dairy products. Soya is best.

This sounds crazy, but it works and it works fast. Every night, 15 minutes before you go to bed, apply cream to your face and leave it on for 2-5 minutes. Then, lightly scrub it off your face. If you do this for a week (or a little over a week) all your acne will be gone.

I have had tons of pimples for years now, and I have to tell you that water is vital. It helps not only your skin, but your health in general. It's a fact that the ideal amount it 11 glasses a day. It helps the chemistry of oils and chemicals in your skin balance!

For some people, when you first see a zit, you think it will go away in a day. But don't just forget about it and leave it. On the first day I see a zit I use a strong toothpaste, like Colgate or Crest put it on the zit and leave it for about 10 minutes. That should reduce the size. In the mornings, I first cleanse my skin with a light oil-free cleaner and then use a cool toner. After that I just put on a moisturizer high in vitamin E. I do that about twice a day or as directed on your cleansers, but the most important thing of all; drink a lot of water and don't stress out about it! You can also try putting lemon or lime on your face, but I warn you that it will sting, but it does help reduce redness when you put cold water on it afterward.

Tip 1. Only squeeze your acne if you know how to. If you squeeze it wrong, you will leave huge fingernail prints in your skin. Even if you don't have long nails, ask someone who knows. Tip 2. Wash your face night and day with a good soap. Rub between your nose with soap a lot, that's where acne is found most.

    1. Change pillow case often. 2. Wash face 1-2 times a day, if you wash your face to much your skin is forced to produce more oil and this can make acne worse. 3. Wash hands before washing your face (this will remove oils from hands). 4. Use warm water to wet your face (this opens pores). 5. Use cold water to rinse (this will close pores up). 6. Drink plenty of water! Take your weight and divide it by 2, the product of this is how many milliliters of water you should drink per day, drinking water hydrates and replenishes your skin. 7. After washing face, apply an oil free lotion, 8. Avoid touching your face as much as possible! You don't want to oils on your hands to get into your pores. Follow these instructions and I promise you'll see a healthier, smoother, acne free complexion!

Each as much fruit as you can. This really works for me. If you can not eat the raw fruits, drink the juice instead. Try it for 1 week and see the cool results.

I can't believe how many people are trying to tell you to put alcohol on your skin to clear up pimples. It's the worst thing you can do. It messes up your good skin. Worse, it over dries your skin and your skin ends up pumping more oil to make up for it. And that means pimples. Don't do it!
