on 8/8/2006 Its the hormonal changes that cause acne. Don't try each and every product to find the best. Just stick on to one product. In fact, the best way to avoid pimples is to drink 1 liter of water and wash your face with warm water. Dandruff is the another cause for acne. So, use anti-dandruff shampoos. Squeezing the pimple causes spreading of pimples. Just take a sterilized needle and prick the pimple and take out the puss with the help of cotton or smooth cloth. Stop squeezing when blood comes out. Nature is the gift of God. I say; don't spoil your face with cosmetics.

on 8/8/2006 Pimples, acne and blackheads are common problems faced by almost everybody. They can pop up irrespective of age. There are many factors contributing to the growth of these spots. The major factor is diet. Diet affects your kidneys. These organs are crucial in eliminating toxins. The skin is another organ which eliminates toxins. Plain water will encourage excretion of toxins as the wastes are flushed out with the water. A measure of the minimum amount to satisfy your body's needs is 8 glasses. If you exercise and sweat a lot, you need to drink water after exercise to replace the fluids lost as sweat. Sweat contains wastes so you need to shower after your exercise. Oils secreted also contribute to clogged pores which give the problem of pimples, acne and blackheads. Use a scrub like a cleanser and sponge to clean your skin! If your pimples, acne or blackhead condition is serious, you can consult your doctor or pharmacist for supplements like Vitamin A and zinc. The former fights the dreaded spots by reducing the production of sebum. Vitamin A will also prevent dead skin cells from sticking together. This prevents the skin pores from being clogged by skin cell debris.
Zinc will work together with Vitamin A to heal lesions caused by outbreak of pimples and acne. Zinc also fights infection and arrest the spread of skin bacteria.

on 8/8/2006 Water is good, so is the juice of apples, carrots, cucumbers and pineapples (canned juice if fresh is not available). Drink this if possible day and night to see cooling effects. Salicylic acid works best for me and so do clay masks. Avoid dairy products. Soya is best.

on 7/31/2006 Tip 1. Only squeeze your acne if you know how to. If you squeeze it wrong, you will leave huge fingernail prints in your skin. Even if you don't have long nails, ask someone who knows.

Tip 2. Wash your face night and day with a good soap. Rub between your nose with soap a lot, that's where acne is found most.

on 3/15/2006 1. Change pillow case often.
2. Wash face 1-2 times a day, if you wash your face to much your skin is forced to produce more oil and this can make acne worse.
3. Wash hands before washing your face (this will remove oils from hands).
4. Use warm water to wet your face (this opens pores).
5. Use cold water to rinse (this will close pores up).
6. Drink plenty of water! Take your weight and divide it by 2, the product of this is how many milliliters of water you should drink per day, drinking water hydrates and replenishes your skin.
7. After washing face, apply an oil free lotion,
8. Avoid touching your face as much as possible! You don't want to oils on your hands to get into your pores.

Follow these instructions and I promise you'll see a healthier, smoother, acne free complexion!

on 2/22/2006 Each as much fruit as you can. This really works for me. If you can not eat the raw fruits, drink the juice instead. Try it for 1 week and see the cool results.

on 2/1/2006 I can't believe how many people are trying to tell you to put alcohol on your skin to clear up pimples. It's the worst thing you can do. It messes up your good skin. Worse, it over dries your skin and your skin ends up pumping more oil to make up for it. And that means pimples. Don't do it!

on 1/30/2006 All you need to do to get rid of blackheads on your nose is this:
1) Find a gold ring and clean it with an antibacterial wipe.
2) Take the ring and start at the top of one side of your nose.
3) Press quite hard as you gradually move it around the side of your nose, so gradually it should feel like you are hardly moving the ring at all! Remember, press hard, but not so hard it really hurts! When you have finished both sides you will be amazed at the amount of gunk that has accumulated in the ring! You may want to repeat it.

Remember to do it once a week and you can say bye-bye to blackheads forever!

on 12/16/2005 Drinking lots of water helps rehydrate the body and helps prevent pimples. Drink at least 2 liters or 8 eight ounce glasses every day to cleanse the body of toxins. You have to be patient; you cannot expect to see any results in one day!

on 12/15/2005 I use to put alcohol on my face, but it only made it sting. Peroxide is what is best, also you can take the yellow part of an egg and use it as a mask.

on 11/22/2005 Myth: Oily and greasy foods will cause more acne.
Fact: Eating healthier will help your immune system. Though eating high amounts of oily and greasy foods may not be healthy, it has nothing to do with your face as long as you are receiving nutrition.

What does cause acne, or heighten the affect of it, is drinking caffeinated drinks or chocolate, since these food items increase the activity in your blood.
