I created a blank bingo card for each guest and asked for each of them to list items the mommy-to-be might receive in each box. As the gifts are being opened, and if the guest has the gift listed in a box, they mark it down, if the get a line completed they get a prize. I have hosted 3 baby showers and this game was a very big hit!

Something to interest the men who may come: set up a pool to guess the baby's weight. Create a 4x16 grid and sell the boxes. Then fill in the numbers 5-8 on the short side and 0-15 on the long side (healthy baby sizes). The prize won't be issued until the baby is born

Fill a large bowl with uncooked rice and add plastic safety pins, (we used a decorative, non-functional kind). Blindfold each guest and have them pull the pins out of the bowl of rice. The person with the most pins wins!

The most boring part of a shower is the opening of the gifts, especially large showers. Make out bingo cards and in boxes place gift items (baby lotion, outfit, diapers, etc.) Make sure you have several free spaces and when gifts are opened everyone has something fun to do and EVERY GIFT is important!! Be sure to have several small prizes as you may get more than one bingo at a time! I made little boxes of homemade fudge. The main thing is to make it a shower to remember.

When each guest arrives hand them a necklace made of pretty ribbon and attach baby toy (rattle, teether, etc) and type out the following instructions to hand with necklace: Take this necklace and wear it during the shower. Everyone gets one and you are not to say the word 'BABY' during the party. When someone does, the first person that catches the slip gets to confiscate all the necklaces they have. The one with the most necklaces at the end of the party, WINS!! This worked great with mardi gras necklaces also. Great ice breaker!!

Put small commonly used baby items in numbered brown lunch bags (max: 10). Have each guest feel the bag and record their guess on a piece of paper. Open each of the bags - the guest with the most correct answers wins! Have a tie-breaker item just in case!

Take the labels off of eight jars of baby food. Tape a number on each jar. Hand out plastic spoons and have each guest sample each flavor and guess its identity. The person with the most matches wins.

Put about 15 different baby items on a tray - a diaper pin, rattle, pacifier, etc. Guests have 60 seconds to look at the tray. Then the guests have two minutes to write down every item that can be remembered. The person remembering the most items wins!

This one was used at my baby shower. Use a common baby poem like "Little Bo Peep." Read the poem, leaving out certain words every so often. Have your guests write down what they think the word is that will finish the sentence. The one with the most right answers is the winner!

Have each person pick up as many pincher pins with one hand as they can hold. The one with the most pins wins.

Fill a baby bottle with candies (M&Ms are good). Have your guests guess how many candies there are - the one with the closest count wins!

Make a big bib for the mother-to-be to wear, then add items to the bib like a pacifer, baby sock, picture of a baby, etc. Give the guests 60 seconds to look, then have them write down what they can remember seeing. The one who remembers the most wins.

Take your ice trays and put water into them to make ice cubes. Add a tiny plastic baby to each cube. Place them in the freezer. You can make these in advance and place them in large Ziploc bags. When preparing for the mother-to-be to open the gifts, hand out a cube of ice in a small cup. Explain to the guests that the first one whose baby completely melts out of the ice has to yell out "MY WATER BROKE!" Whoever does this first is the prize winner.

Let guests know that if they bring a bag of diapers with their gifts they will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize. I bought lotions and bath oils at the cost of $13.00 for the grand prize. My friend said she had enough diapers for a few months after her shower.

Cut square pieces of cloth to create mini cloth diapers. Insert peanut butter in one and pass them out to guests. Instruct them to pin the diapers on their lapels. At the end of the party, ask them to open the diapers. The one with the surprise wins.

Take 4 disposable diapers and write the numbers 1 through 4 on the outside of them. Buy different types of chocolate candy bars, melt them, and place them into the diapers. Write down which candy bar is in which diaper. Give each guest a paper and pencil. Have the guests smell the diapers and guess which candy is in them, writing it down on a piece of paper.
