Engrave anything---it is so personal and looks special and personal. Try Red Envelope Catalogue but if you have a local engraver that's even better. I love a store in Agoura California called the Engraved Letter, you get to choose your own font. Also, it is beautiful on crystal or silver I have ordered apothecary jars, bowls, silver

I heard that those entertainment books the kid next door always sells (or tries to sell) for their school fundraiser make a great gift. They have coupons for theater tickets, amusement parks, fancy restaurants, fast food, retail stores, malls, you name it.

Who doesn't like to eat out? Get them a gift certificate to a great restaurant (or their favorite restaurant). Wine and favorite liqueurs are great ideas, too.
