Do not pop a pimple due to scarring. The best way to get rid of a pimple is to drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Always take a bath regularly and wash your body fully.

All you have to do is to wash your face three times a day; once in the morning, again in the afternoon and again right after dinner. Make sure that the soap you're using is clean, only use one particular bar of soap for your face, not for anything else. And stay away from the fries and junk food!

Do not use too much toothpaste. Do not use it on a regular basis, your skin will get rough real soon and you will begin to peel. Toothpaste works, just occasionally!

This trick takes some time, but it's worth it.
1. Get some ice cubes and wrap them with a tissue.
2. Hold the ice cubes on the pimple or blemish for 5-10 minutes.
3. After using ice cube, take some Visine (original) and add a drop on the blemish or pimple.
Do this 1-2 weeks, your pimple or blemish will dry out in no time! In the meantime, drink lots of water, and try to get the right amount of sleep. Your face will be clean and clear.

I always use Resinol, it's a life saver. It's something my Mom and Grandma used on their pimples and they passed it down to me and my sister. Whenever we get a pimple we wash our face, then dab Resinol on the pimple. Resinol is originally used for scars and cuts and works wonders overnight (available at any drugstore).

I squeezed a pimple on my nose with bad results. It turned out to be cancerous. I had to have it operated on and now have an ugly scar there. I don't recommend squeezing pimples.

I had zits on my face and I tried putting toothpaste on them. This is a bad idea. The toothpaste burned my face and left me with blisters on my face over the zits. This was after only using the toothpaste once.

I'm 18 years old and my acne seems to be finally clearing up! It started when I used common sense on how to deal with pimples. Here are some tips I would like to share with you: 1) Never pop a pimple. 2) Never touch your face with your hands. 3) Wash your face, here is how: a. in the morning dab it with a lukewarm cloth b. before going to bed use a product called Clean & Clear Foaming Face Wash, put it on and gently wash your face using your hands than rinse off with warm water, than dab your face with a cloth. This product works amazingly! 4) The above will work, but if doesn't do the job for you, then try the following below: 1) Lemon juice. Dab it on the pimple using a Q-tip. 2) Tea tree oil. 3) Hemp soap.
One of these solutions will do the job. Trust me, try it! You will be impressed!

What works for me: First, I wash my face with a facial scrub then I pat it dry. Then I put toothpaste on the pimples. The next day I wash my face again, then I put petroleum jelly on my zits. Remember, use toothpaste every other day only to prevent scarring. Always remember to eat healthy.

I don't have a lot of pimples, but when I do get pimples that you can notice, I get self-conscious! I heard that toothpaste worked, so I gave it a try. The first time I used it, the pimple on my face shrunk. The second time I used toothpaste, it burnt my skin and made the pimple redder and more painful. I found out that toothpaste may not work for all pimple situations. Now, I realize that I should just stick to washing my face 2-3 times a day and drink a lot of water.

I had really bad acne for about 5 years and I was teased a lot. So after trying tons of face washes, Proactive and other things, I went to the Dermatologist. Since I had really bad acne, he told me to try taking this pill once a day for at least 5 months. Wow, it worked so well. For my acne scars he told me to use moisturizing scar lotion. It works really well, too. Don't be afraid to go to the dermatologist!
