on 11/22/2005 Everyone's face reacts differently to different products, so the best option is to consult a dermatologist. I did, and it was a pimple-free miracle!

on 11/22/2005 It's time the gurus quit telling you not to pop. This could be unsafe if you have a serious outbreak. Clean well, use antibacterial soap, expell the culprit, and keep covered with antibiotic ointment and bandage.

on 11/22/2005 Soak a facecloth in a 2-1 warm water and vinegar solution. Place on your pimple until it cools off. Repeat. Do this for no longer than 1/2 hour. This will help bring the pimple to a head. Go to bed with zinc oxide cream on your face.

on 11/22/2005 I have really clear skin on my face, but on my back sometimes I break out. My mom told me to try deodorant because it will dry up the pimples. I tried it one night and it actually worked. They were smaller and the redness was gone.

on 11/22/2005 Drink lots of water! Not only does it leave your skin soft and younger-looking, it also fights acne.

on 11/22/2005 Visine eye drops work. Put a bit on your pimple because it will shrink the veins, just like in your eyes.

on 2/12/2007 To get rid of a zit, I found that oatmeal and eggs work. I can't remember how much, so use your own judgement. I also have oily skin, so I found it takes time. Don't judge someone on their ZITS!

on 11/22/2005 People think that the more you wash your face, the better. But that's not always the case. Washing your face too much can lead to overdryness and irritation. I think washing your face once a day is the best thing to do. And try not to pick your pimples!

on 11/22/2005 Every time I have a pimple, I usually put a steaming hot washcloth over it to open the pore. I then pop the zit using the same washcloth (don't use fingernails, which might leave a scar). It usually disappears after a couple of days.

on 11/22/2005 I've had acne for years - been through antibiotics, did accutane twice, tried proactive & many at-home remedies. Accutane worked for about 1.5 years each time, but once out of my system, the acne reappeared. Now I'm on lomalux & it's working great for me.

on 11/22/2005 One day I woke up in the morning & I had a pimple. I was thinking of what I could try because I didn't have any cleaning products. So I washed my face & placed a HOT tea bag on it for about 20 minutes. It won't go away right away, but give it a day or so.

on 11/22/2005 Don't use toothpaste! It won't do anything (I know from personal experience) and it will leave a sticky mess on your face and pillow. Be smart.

on 11/22/2005 How many times do we have to state that toothpaste works? I counted about 15. What about sleep? Try getting a good 9 hours under a warm blanket without any disruptions. Instead of stressing out over all these techniques, try not stressing at all.

on 11/22/2005 Wash your face with a mild soap
pat dry, and apply a little toothpaste direcly on the pimple
overnight. Also drink lots of
water; it helps the body to repair itself faster.
