First take a steaming hot washcloth and place it on the pimple, then use one soaked in ice water. Do this several times. It opens and shrinks the pores, forcing the impurities upward. Then dab milk of magnesia on the pimple and when it's dry, go to bed.

After washing, splash your face with cold water. This helps to close the pores. What also helps is to pinch or gently "slap" the areas where you usually break out. (Don't laugh it works.) This with get the blood flowing which will carry away impurities.

This is a fantastic solution for a zit that you have already popped, mix some bicarbonate of soda with a little water (just enough to make a paste) and put on zit. Leave it to dry. Somehow, this draws out all the gunk inside!!

To get rid of a pimple, dab garlic juice on it overnight and after cleaning the next morning, rub a raw potatoe on it to get rid of the redness. Another method is to make a paste of yeast and tree tea oil, cover with a band-aid and leave over night.

Always keep your skin clean. Wash it twice a day with gel. Also, eat well! Healthy skin is beautiful skin, so try to avoid too much chocolate and other snacks. Drink a lot of water, and avoid stress. A lot of sleep is very good for your skin, too.

You absolutly have to moisturize your skin, cuz if you cover up your zits, it majorly dries out your skin. So use a basic moisturizer every night on your face before going to bed.

I saw Oprah's show introducing eHow and tried tea tree oil. It's fabulous! I also cleanse my face twice a day using a face cloth and antibacterial Palmolive. It cleanses my skin beautifully and the tea tree oil is applied afterwards. But moisturize!
